Specially designed for hot horses and horses prone to stress

Cavalor® Pianissimo is specially formulated for hot horses, horses prone to stress, or horses that are hard to handle. This feed is also suitable for horses on stall rest. It is a low energy feed making it suitable for feeding in addition to roughage rich in protein (such as spring grass) as it is not advisable to feed excessive amounts of protein on a daily basis. The low protein content also makes it ideal for horses reducing training after competition season, horses temporarily on stall rest (recovery) or horses sensitive to high levels of protein and are given pre-dried grass as roughage. You can swap horses off another Cavalor feed onto Pianissimo 2-3 days before a show to get the calming benefit of Pianissimo.

REDUCED ENERGY FORMULA

Pianissimo is formulated to be a lower energy feed, with lower protein and no oats, which supports focus in hot horses. The mineral and amino acid additives provide a focused, well-centered horse.

LOW PROTEIN

Protein fed in excess of daily requirements cannot be stored in the horse’s body. Horses convert protein into muscle mass by eating adequate protein and exercising. If protein synthesis occurs at the maximum rate, the unused amino acids are broken down and excreted.

OAT FREE

Oats have long been recognized as a source of energy for the horse in work, but for the horse prone to being hot or stressed, a high energy grain with oats can increase his energy and stress levels. An oat free grain can lower his energy level.
