WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association, the NCEA, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Cavalor as the Official Nutrition Partner of the NCEA.
NCEA Executive Director Dr. Leah Fiorentino notes that “Cavalor is a world leader in equine nutrition for high-performance horses and it’s exciting for the NCEA to collaborate with such a high-quality global company. The collective herd across NCAA Equestrian programs is significant and Cavalor will work with these programs to achieve top level performance through proper nutrition and care.”
“Cavalor recognizes the value in supporting riders at the international level, but also the importance of supporting young riders, especially through their collegiate years,” Cavalor National Sales Manager Laura Brinson says. “They are the future of our sport whether they ultimately ride as amateurs or as a professional. We want to encourage the work that they are putting into their studies and their sport. And as all good athletes know the importance of good nutrition is essential to empower the body and the brain. We hope that this collaboration with the NCEA emphasizes the importance of nutrition for not only the student but also for the horse, so both athletes can perform their best for years to come.”
“Cavalor has been a leading global equine presence for years now and we were excited to have them discuss ways to partner with the NCEA as it oversees the emergence of NCAA Equestrian sport to Championship status in the very near future,” Tom O’Mara, NCEA National Advisory Board member noted. “The level of interest in NCAA Equestrian among junior riders in the U.S., in both Jumping Seat and Western disciplines, is remarkable and partnering with Cavalor will significantly help our horses directly as well as assist the sport as it grows. So it’s a win-win.”
